The research activities are concentrated in the following areas:

Scheduling: Machine scheduling, project scheduling, railway scheduling, timetabling, scheduling and routing, flexible manufacturing, robotic cells

Mathematical Programming: Linear programming, Lagrange relaxations, column generation techniques, network flows

Heuristics: Local search methods, genetic algorithms
