Abstract
In the first part of this diploma thesis the different concepts
of connections in differential geometry are investigated.
It is shown that connections on manifolds and connections
on vector bundles are in one-to-one correspondence with
connections on principal bundles.
The second part is about a special class of connections, the
self dual connections on a SU(2)-principal bundle over the
four-sphere S^4 with integral second chern class c_2=-k.
These are the k-instantons.
